Biking around

I recently had some maintenance done in one of my bikes. The crankset and cassette got replaced, I do bike around quite a bit. It was fun to actually "see" why sometimes gears were acting funny... just look at this poor bastard, it did a lot of miles, most of them in Helsinki, having to endure the cold and snowy winter and a few more in California, were it finally got too bad...

Exploits and botwars

It has been pretty busy at work lately analyzing and following the spike of worm releases related to the MS05-039 (the PnP) vulnerability. Several families already incorporated the exploit released the day after the patch was made public by Microsoft.
We have not seen any numbers that indicate this case is specially worse than other "bots", I think it just got "lucky" of hitting CNN and other media power-houses which told the whole world about it...
